Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You†to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

... One of the most beautiful
sunrises on Jekyll Island,
captured on Driftwood Beach,
with the deep blues of the early
morning and interesting clouds
reflecting in the wet sand at low tide...
This huge old oak tree was uprooted by storm and tide surges and lays like a sun-bleached octopus on this very interesting sandy beach. The sand is rippled by the outgoing waves, still wet at low tide, reflecting the blues of dawn. The sun is just below the horizon,ready to light up the branches of this gnarled tree. The lighthouse can be seen in the distance on Saint Simons Island across the bay. This beach is often called Roots Beach by the locals on the southern coast of Georgia...
